As a very young woman I was married to an abuser, luckily I had a great family and I left him, also fortunately I didn’t have any children as I think sometimes women stay in the situation because it is harder to leave when you have them to consider. I have been married to my second husband for 62 years, and had a good life with Children, Grandchildren, and GreatGrandchildren.
